Other Characters Currently In-Game: N/A
Character Name: Velvette
Series: Hazbin Hotel
Age: Unknown but assumed died in her 30s
From When?: Around the end of season two when Vox goes a little crazy with the Heaven laser and instead of ducking she wasn't fast enough to dodge it.
Inmate Justification: PFFFTHAHA. She was in Hell for a reason. Considering she was in Hell as an Overlord at the top of the ladder and was very much active in the plan to try and take over Heaven, she really needs a reality check that all of that is a bad idea, actually. She won't change overnight or anything and probably won't be entirely not awful, but baby steps.
Arrival: When you've died one time, you aren't keen on dying again. Despite not really believing in redemption, she would have taken the offer to avoid permanent death.
Abilities/Powers: Oh boy. Velvette's big thing is that she can use social media as a weapon, bother figuratively and literally. She was the social media Overlord of Hell and could use things such as polls, comments, and emojis for both practical and battle use. Though these are also technically holograms she can create so in theory she only needs access to a phone to create objects. The stipulation and depower from this would obviously be that she cannot create weaponry with it but can do things such as bringing up a projection of comments, pictures, or things like emojis (not the knife emoji).
She's also very capable when it comes to witchcraft, usually seen in the context of creating potions via forms of alchemy such as the Love Potion in canon as well as being able to create sigils in order to use her holograms. Tied into this is the fact she evidently has a broom she uses for transportation and her ability to create random explosions (this will be removed from her) or use telekinesis to move objects to which we aren't sure the extent of yet. For that in particular I'd probably put the limit at furniture at the most that she can move.
Another large part of Velvette herself is the fact that when she died and went to Hell she ended up in the form of a doll, meaning she's able to remove and change parts of her body at will while still being able to control those parts of her body. Such as in canon she literally falls out of a building and breaks into pieces but pulls herself back together later. Along with this is her ability to manipulate and change her hair as well. This has no real purpose outside of being difficult to kill and able to do things like move at unnatural angles.
Lastly is her ability to manipulate clothing, able to swipe her hand like one would do on a phone to change either someone else's or her own clothing. These are not temporary things, they are fully formed garments that exist in reality. I can remove or depower this to just be for her if needed but she wouldn't use it in any sort of offensive gesture as we've only seen her use it for dressing models for shows or for new garments that she's trying to create for her fashion lines.
Inmate Information: Perhaps the most important thing to know is that Velvette is from Hell and thus has an entirely different view of what morality is by this point. She was the youngest Overlord (the Sinners that were considered the strongest) meaning she was new to this whole idea and made a name for herself really quickly. She's intensely driven when she sets her mind to something and stubborn when it comes to changing anything she thinks doesn't need to be changed or is wrong. She also will hold a grudge quickly and poke the bear when she feels she's been wronged. She has absolutely no problems with stepping on others to get to a better spot herself and could not care less about other people unless they're people she likes and even then she might temporarily turn on them if they do something that's against her (such as Vox starting to cut her and Valentino out from their taking over Heaven plan which she DID NOT take well and called him things like a dick and an asshole for it).
While her human life hasn't been revealed yet whatever she did it was bad enough to land her in Hell after dying which just means she wasn't a good person to start with. Being an Overlord she had souls under her control via contracts and given Velvette's major thing was social media and fashion, she's very particular when it comes to those matters. She'll tear someone apart on social media like it's absolutely nothing whether that person deserves it or not, spinning stories to make whatever narrative she's pushing be the truth to the general populace. She also treats her employees rather poorly to where they'll work longer than they should, yelling and berating them for most of nothing and not seeming to care when they get hurt. Such as when Valentino threw a tantrum and tore apart one of her top models and she was only mad that she wouldn't have time to pull herself together before the show than actually caring about the situation.
She also has no issues using people for her own gain, making this perhaps the most obvious in the fact that she is the creator of the Love Potion which is essentially a liquid version and perhaps more potent version of something similar to roofies. She even advertises it herself along with her fellow Vees to get people to buy it, not caring who uses it or what they use it for. On that same note it's been shown that the Vees share their employees between each other which would mean subjecting them to Vox's insane work schedules or being in one of Valentino's porn shoots, sometimes using the latter as a punishment.
Path to Redemption: Oddly enough, Velvette is the least bad of the Vees, which is a bar that's practically underground, but it makes her a little less difficult to work with. Part of what she needs to change about herself is that she doesn't need to make herself look like she's a "bad bitch" of sorts where she steps on people preemptively to keep people from going after her, especially since she enjoys doing that. Along with the whole believing that redemption is even possible since that's a concept also in her canon where she thinks is a bunch of bullshit and even mocks Charlie for thinking it's even possible and actively working to tear the princess down for it.
Interestingly it might be easier for Wardens to focus on the fact that despite being in Hell she does care about people, specifically her other business partners who make up the other parts of the Vees. Since while they would all claim that it's really just a business partnership she does care about Vox and Valentino despite them sometimes wearing on her last nerve, those are her boys and she can't stay mad at them.Except Vox in her current point given the whole reason she ended up here in the first place thing. But that'll take time to resolve.
As for Wardening styles, she's... a little difficult to work with. She doesn't take direction well and absolutely does not respond to heavy handed tactics since it just causes her to dig her heels in further than to really think about what's being said or done. Hilariously the easiest way to deal with her is probably manipulate her into thinking something is her idea or find a way to make her realize it is a good choice instead of forcing it on her. However, she will absolutely also need someone that can talk her down or force her down when she inevitably tries to go after someone whether physically or trying to just destroy their entire world around them. She's a vicious little shit that holds grudges easily and has no problem throwing herself into destruction of someone else if not stopped.
History: Bap
Sample Network Entry: Second part of this post and also has a comment string with Vaggie that's network-based entirely.
Sample RP: First part of this post and also has comment strings underneath it that are action-based.
Special Notes: I am so sorry that I'm coming back with a somehow worse character. Also let me just set this down here to show how horrible this asshole is.
